Can I use a winter pool cover on both metal and resin pools?
Yes. Our winter pool covers can be used on both metal and resin above-ground pools.
How much larger is the cover than my pool?
Each cover is made 2 feet larger than your pool. You order the size that matches your pool, and the cover you receive is 2 feet larger. For example, a 24-foot round pool receives a 26-foot round cover, and a 15 x 26-foot oval pool receives a 17 x 28-foot cover.
Which size should I order?
Order the size that matches your pool. If you have a 15-foot round pool, choose 15' Round from the Pool size menu. See our sizing guide for the full list of pool sizes and the cover size you will receive.
Can I use a cover that isn't the exact size of my pool?
Yes. Because the cover is 2 feet larger than the pool, choosing a larger size gives you more overhang and choosing a smaller size gives you less. Make sure you have at least 6 inches of additional material to cover your top rails.
How do top rails affect the size I need?
Top rails add about 6 inches around the edge of your pool, so measure your pool length and add 6 inches. For example, a 24-foot pool with 6-inch top rails around the edge measures about 25 feet. The cover is still 26 feet, which leaves an additional 6 inches of overhang.
How tight should the bungees be?
Each bungee only needs about 4-6 inches of stretch.
What is included with the cover?
Each cover kit includes enough bungees, U-brackets and screws for a standard pool build, plus a skimmer dam and a warranty booklet.
What warranty comes with the cover?
Covers have a 7-year limited warranty. Year 1 is a free replacement. After that, you receive a discount on the current retail price: 50% in year 2, 40% in year 3, 35% in year 4, 30% in year 5, 25% in year 6 and 20% in year 7. See the warranty booklet for full terms.
How long does delivery take?
Typical delivery is 2-3 business days in Canada and 4-5 business days to the US.
